Base Salary
$260k - $340k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect systems for Bare-Metal-as-a-Service to deliver raw GPU throughput.
- Design optimized virtualization layers for Intelligent IaaS.
- Build a high-performance container substrate for Elastic CaaS.
- Lead architectural design of internal cloud fabric focusing on I/O path.
- Prototype and productionize novel methods for managing memory and compute.
- Draft technical strategy documents and white papers.
- Collaborate with engineers to resolve complex I/O path issues.
- Represent Crusoe in open-source communities and industry forums.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in core infrastructure design at a major hyperscaler or specialized HPC cloud.
- Authoritative knowledge of the Linux kernel and virtualization internals.
- Proven ability to design software for NVIDIA/AMD GPUs and high-speed NICs.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through high-ambiguity projects.
- Significant contributions to the field, including patents or open-source work.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and business discussions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
