Base Salary
$81k - $163k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support enterprise payment applications using Java, Spring Boot, JMS, Kafka, and PCF.
- Implement microservices architectures by defining service boundaries, integration patterns, and deployment strategies.
- Troubleshoot production issues and deliver secure, scalable, resilient, and high-performing technical solutions.
- Optimize JVM-based applications and payment services for low latency, high throughput, and reliable transaction processing.
- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams on CI/CD pipelines, observability, and cloud deployments in PCF environments.
- Perform unit testing, support deployments, remediate security vulnerabilities, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Promote automation, reusable frameworks, and continuous engineering improvement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building enterprise applications with Java 21 and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing microservices-based architectures.
- Experience with JMS, messaging frameworks, asynchronous communication patterns, Apache Kafka, and event-driven application development.
- Experience deploying and supporting applications on Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
- Experience with application performance tuning, JVM optimization, and production support.
- Strong understanding of secure coding, vulnerability remediation, and security scan compliance.
- Experience supporting high-volume payment, transaction-processing, or messaging-based platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Preferred qualifications include DevOps, CI/CD, deployment automation, monitoring, logging, observability, cloud-native development, containerization, financial services, banking, payments, and strong stakeholder collaboration experience.
