Responsibilities
- Deliver functional and technical Workday enhancements supporting the existing implementation.
- Collaborate with Workday teams, business users, and third-party integrators to understand business requirements.
- Participate in product and feature design sessions with developers, designers, product managers, and business systems analysts.
- Build scalable and maintainable test automation using tools such as Kainos.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Diagnose, track, and resolve quality issues.
- Create test strategies, test plans, test cases, test execution records, and defect reports.
- Communicate project status and risks to the team and manager.
Requirements
- Workday certification in one or more functional areas, with Workday Pro certification preferred or required for applicable modules.
- At least four years of Workday HRMS implementation and Workday integration experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Workday architecture, configuration, and integration frameworks.
- Working knowledge of Workday Security, Business Processes, Reports, Calc Fields, Studio, and BIRT.
- Experience leading full-lifecycle Workday implementations.
- Experience with data modeling and relational database languages such as SQL or SOQL.
- Working knowledge of SOAP and REST web services.
- Experience defining and executing test strategies, test plans, test cases, and defect reporting for Workday or enterprise HR software.
- Business analysis and requirements-gathering experience.
- Experience with Workday HCM, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, or Time & Absence modules.
- Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, annual benefit enrollment, compensation merit and promotion cycles, and MuleSoft troubleshooting is preferred.
- Experience with SaaS and PaaS architectures or industry environments is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or relevant experience.
- Experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Cursor is preferred.
- Advanced prompt engineering skills and experience creating reliable, secure, production-ready AI-assisted workflows are preferred.
