Responsibilities
- Acquire, ingest, and store telemetry from launch operations, spacecraft operations, integrated systems testing, operational simulations, and subsystem testing.
- Design and implement software, tests, and architecture based on feature requests and bug fixes.
- Create operational documentation for software products.
- Manage and review source code using version control tools and establish code review standards.
- Create, maintain, deploy, and support components, functions, or services used in launch vehicle and spacecraft operations.
- Perform independent engineering work and take ownership of assigned software products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a similar field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a related field.
- Experience with Git and an issue tracker such as Redmine or Jira.
- Go development experience and knowledge of high-performance systems and scalability.
- Preferred experience with UDP, TCP, gRPC, CCSDS, Linux containers, cloud application development, system administration, CI/CD systems, shared data model definition, and Python development.
