Base Salary
$163k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test the Gusto PEO Benefits experience.
- Mentor other engineers to solve complex technical problems.
- Help scale one of the largest Ruby/Rails and Javascript/React applications.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Data, Design, and Platform Engineering teams.
- Prototype, iterate, and launch solutions based on customer pain points.
- Build products that customers genuinely love.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- 3+ years of PEO experience with direct involvement in building PEO flows.
- Experience owning multi-quarter projects with measurable customer impact.
- Ability to drive large, cross-functional projects end-to-end.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate development.
- Curiosity and experimentation with emerging AI frameworks.
- Ability to mentor engineers for maximum performance.
