Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Automate configuration management and application deployments using Ansible.
- Build, optimize, and support CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to streamline release processes.
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Implement security, cost optimization, and infrastructure governance best practices.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues across environments.
- Document infrastructure designs, processes, and operational procedures.
- Act as the central team contact for specialist departments and coordinate risk assessments, communications, and approvals.
- Provide technical support to the scrum master and product teams.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Hands-on expertise with Azure cloud compute, networking, storage, and identity services.
- Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
- Solid knowledge of Ansible for configuration management and automation.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, and system architecture.
- Experience with Linux-based systems.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration; Kubernetes experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Azure certifications such as AZ-104 or AZ-400 are desirable.
- Experience with Kubernetes, including AKS, is desirable.
- Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana is desirable.
- Security and compliance experience in cloud environments is desirable.
- English at B2 level is required; German is nice to have.
