Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and support end-to-end Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.
- Build and manage customer journeys, email campaigns, audience segmentation, and automation processes.
- Develop responsive email templates and landing pages using HTML, CSS, AMPscript, and SSJS.
- Create and optimize SQL queries for audience creation, data management, reporting, and campaign execution.
- Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with enterprise platforms using APIs and data connectors.
- Configure and manage Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, Contact Builder, Advertising Studio, CloudPages, and Intelligence Reports and Analytics.
- Gather stakeholder requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot campaign and data issues, perform debugging, and conduct root cause analysis.
- Ensure solutions follow Salesforce best practices, security standards, and governance policies.
- Perform send QA across devices and clients and manage rendering, deliverability, hygiene, and send-time troubleshooting.
- Build reusable templates, code libraries, and documentation.
- Support tracking instrumentation and A/B and multivariate testing with analytics partners.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation and development.
- Strong expertise across Salesforce Marketing Cloud modules and capabilities.
- Expert proficiency in HTML/CSS, Server-Side JavaScript, AMPscript, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud REST and SOAP APIs.
- Strong understanding of customer journeys, segmentation, personalization, and marketing automation best practices.
- Experience with version control, deployment processes, and environment management.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant and/or Developer certification preferred or required as listed qualification.
- QA and testing experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Salesforce CRM, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud integrations is preferred.
- Familiarity with marketing analytics and reporting platforms is preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management, consulting, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple projects and deadlines.

- The typical hourly pay rate is $52.40–$79.33 and is negotiable based on experience and location.
