Base Salary

Responsibilities

Build performant, secure, tested web applications with emphasis on automation and security.
Design, enhance, and improve APIs connecting frontend and backend services.
Lead critical features across the full development lifecycle based on user feedback, system requirements, engineering design, and customer needs.
Translate design mockups into functional user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks and technologies.
Conduct code reviews to maintain quality, enforce best practices, and ensure adherence to standards.
Advocate for product quality, security, and performance improvements across teams.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Work with end users to design and build solutions for mission-planning and command-and-control needs.

5+ years of progressively responsible web development experience.
Extensive experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and web frameworks such as React and Svelte.
Strong backend programming fundamentals and experience integrating frontend and backend services.
Understanding of open architecture constructs such as OMS, UCI, and OCI.
Understanding of containerized microservices architectures using Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience developing, testing, and deploying software in air-gapped or highly secure government network environments.
Ability to own technical problems end-to-end, work independently amid ambiguity, guide others, and support project leadership activities.
Strong communication, learning, and adaptation skills.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain U.S. Top Secret/TS/SCI clearance and compliance with stated U.S. citizenship or authorization requirements.
Experience designing intuitive interfaces with real-time 2D/3D geospatial visualizations is preferred.
An active U.S. Government Secret Clearance is preferred.

Remote work arrangement with potential travel for client visits, company gatherings, and project-related activities.
$157,000–$190,000 base salary.
