Responsibilities
- Own frontend features and components across checkout, payments, scheduling, sales-assisted, and partner booking flows.
- Build accessible, high-performance customer-facing features with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Contribute to frontend architecture using server and client components, TanStack Query, Zustand, React Hook Form, and Zod.
- Integrate commerce APIs and third-party services including payment, authentication, mapping, analytics, and promotion systems.
- Ship and analyze growth experiments across the booking funnel, including conversion and guardrail metrics.
- Instrument product behavior, errors, performance, consent, and marketing attribution.
- Write unit, component, API-mocked, and end-to-end tests using Vitest, Testing Library, MSW, and Playwright.
- Own production outcomes through feature flags, dashboards, monitoring, and incident follow-through.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Marketing, and Backend teams on component libraries and API contracts.
- Provide technical guidance through design reviews and code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Typically 4+ years of professional frontend engineering experience, including at least 3 years building production applications with React and TypeScript.
- Strong experience with Next.js or a comparable React framework, including server-side rendering, routing, and server/client rendering tradeoffs.
- Deep understanding of semantic HTML, modern CSS, responsive layout, browser behavior, networking, caching, and rendering performance.
- Experience with state management, data fetching, complex validated forms, and transactional or payment flows.
- Strong testing experience across unit, component, and end-to-end layers.
- Working knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA, Core Web Vitals, frontend observability, and product analytics.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices and cloud hosting such as GitHub Actions and AWS.
- Track record of leading complex features from design through production in ambiguous environments.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience includes Stripe.js, Affirm, commercetools, Voucherify, Tailwind CSS, design systems, consent management, multi-region products, growth engineering, marketing attribution, Auth0, scheduling or booking systems, consumer healthcare, and regulated industries.

- The base salary is $145,000 to $170,000 in local currency, depending on experience and geographic location.
