Responsibilities
- Own frontend and cross-platform architecture contracts across Kotlin, platform-specific code, and the VueJS/TypeScript UI layer.
- Design, implement, and maintain shared Kotlin Multiplatform modules for point-of-sale business capabilities across JVM/Desktop and Android targets.
- Implement platform-specific desktop and Android code using expect/actual patterns while isolating platform concerns from shared business logic.
- Build offline-capable flows with local persistence, caching, synchronization readiness, and explicit failure handling.
- Write automated tests for domain rules, use cases, repositories, bridge contracts, and coroutine-based flows.
- Participate in code reviews, refactor existing modules, and maintain high-quality, performant code.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, QA, product owners, and architects on contracts, requirements, and feature delivery.
- Mentor less experienced Kotlin developers and communicate progress, trade-offs, and technical decisions.
- Use AI tools responsibly to automate repetitive work, support decisions, and improve delivery quality.
Requirements
- Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
- Experience with CSS-in-JS, particularly PandaCSS.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, autonomous, self-driven approach to work.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and technical decisions.
- Regular use of AI tools, including the ability to structure effective prompts, validate outputs critically, understand limitations, and own final results.
- Experience with Node.js is preferred.
- Experience with headless CMS platforms, preferably Contentful, is preferred.
- Experience with Playwright is preferred.
