Base Salary
$126k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement front-end dashboards, charts, tables, and interactive data visualizations for reporting and analytics products.
- Contribute to UI/UX flows, component layouts, wireframes, APIs, and .NET/C# services supporting reporting features.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and front-end automated tests.
- Contribute to CI/CD changes, environment configuration, release checklists, and other basic DevOps tasks.
- Collaborate with the squad to clarify requirements, evaluate tradeoffs, review code, and understand data contracts.
- Participate in on-call support and triage reporting-related issues.
- Use AI tools for code generation, debugging, testing, design exploration, backend work, and operational tasks.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience, primarily focused on front-end development.
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern front-end framework, preferably React; Angular is also considered.
- Solid HTML/CSS skills and experience building clean, usable, data-dense interfaces.
- Working experience with C#/.NET and Web APIs or comparable server-side development.
- Comfort with SQL and relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience building or consuming REST APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend services.
- Ability to take on QA, basic DevOps, and lightweight design tasks outside the core specialty.
- Experience using AI coding assistants as part of daily development workflows.
- Ability to independently handle well-scoped problems and communicate when additional context is needed.
- B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience includes D3, Chart.js, Highcharts, Recharts, reporting or BI concepts, state management, CI/CD, containerization, cloud deployment, Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Figma, and Claude or similar LLM-based coding tools.
