Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Java applications and APIs for payment and transaction processing systems.
- Collaborate with product, business, technology, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
- Conduct technical design reviews, performance optimization, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and support application stability, security, and operational excellence.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering standards and development best practices.
Requirements
- 6 to 10 years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications using Java.
- Strong expertise in Core Java, object-oriented programming, multithreading, exception handling, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with modern Java frameworks, dependency injection, web services, and persistence technologies.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services in scalable, distributed environments.
- Understanding of unit testing, integration testing, CI/CD practices, and software development lifecycle methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience with payment processing, banking, or financial services applications.
- Preferred knowledge of payment transaction lifecycles, settlement processes, and industry compliance requirements.
- Preferred experience optimizing database performance and application scalability in high-volume environments.
- Preferred familiarity with cloud-native development, automation, and DevOps practices.
- Ability to mentor team members and collaborate across global teams.
