Responsibilities
- Define technical solutions through research and team investigation in line with CTO-directed vision.
- Design and construct software across the full stack, including code structure, deployment architecture, DevOps, automated testing, and third-party integrations.
- Guide proofs of concept into production and mentor team members on new technologies and practices.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal teams on solution design, roadmap delivery, and agreed budgets.
- Migrate existing polyglot solutions to standardized Rust and TypeScript and develop more portable deployment architectures.
- Research and define future technical strategies for the company and its clients.
- Create design documents and translate requirements into technical tasks while helping teams and customers develop effective enterprise software architectures.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience as a software developer or engineer, including experience with enterprise-level complexity.
- High proficiency in at least one enterprise-quality programming language and ecosystem, such as C#/.NET or Java and Spring.
- Experience with a lower-level application or systems language, preferably Rust or alternatively C++.
- Experience with TypeScript and React or similar front-end frameworks, plus a strong understanding of web application development.
- Hands-on experience deploying to Azure and/or AWS, building CI/CD pipelines, and using infrastructure scripting frameworks such as Terraform.
- Demonstrable experience designing distributed and asynchronous architectures, including microservices and messaging systems.
- Experience using LLMs in software delivery and explaining how they improve delivery speed and system safety.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
