Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, maintainable, secure software systems for Azure networking and compute use cases.
- Build, test, and deploy automation tools and agents for control-plane and data-plane software.
- Act as a Designated Responsible Individual, follow operational playbooks, and participate in on-call monitoring for service degradation and downtime.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root cause analysis.
- Drive improvements in reliability, performance, availability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and partner teams to define technical requirements and solutions.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering excellence.
- Champion security, privacy, compliance, and operational excellence requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Experience coding in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 8+ years of technical engineering experience.
- Alternatively, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 12+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
