Responsibilities
- Build software services and APIs in Python, preferably using FastAPI.
- Design and maintain secure Azure cloud infrastructure, including networking, WAF, and CDN components.
- Use Terraform for Infrastructure as Code and deploy scalable services with AKS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Implement real-time and batch data pipelines using Kafka and Kinesis.
- Apply software architecture, data modeling, performance optimization, testing, security, and observability practices.
- Support, monitor, and troubleshoot production systems, including complex incidents and post-mortem analysis.
- Promote engineering best practices, automated deployment workflows, and clear communication with technical and executive stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience with Azure and cloud infrastructure, including networking, WAF, and CDN.
- At least 7 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, plus hands-on AKS, Kubernetes, and Docker experience.
- At least 10 years of Python development experience and strong experience building web services with FastAPI.
- Experience building AI-enabled recommendation or conversational applications and evaluating LLM or AI systems.
- Strong software design, architecture, data engineering, testing, performance, security, and operational experience.
- Fluent English.
