Responsibilities

  • Own the technical architecture for complex, cross-team infrastructure initiatives across cloud platforms, CI/CD, observability, and enterprise systems.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient cloud-native infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
  • Architect and integrate agentic AI workflows for incident triage, self-healing infrastructure, change review, and other DevOps operations.
  • Set organization-wide standards for infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, security, observability, and responsible AI-assisted operations.
  • Lead technical design reviews and provide architectural guidance to engineering and platform teams.
  • Develop infrastructure roadmaps with product, security, and engineering leadership.
  • Resolve systemic performance, reliability, and scalability issues across cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
  • Own incident response and disaster recovery strategy, including postmortems and durable corrective actions.
  • Mentor senior and mid-level engineers and influence technical direction across teams.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, particularly AI-driven infrastructure automation, for business applicability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field is preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in infrastructure or software engineering, including large-scale cloud infrastructure and CI/CD architecture.
  • Expert proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Bicep and CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems, containerization, and Kubernetes orchestration at scale.
  • Strong experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP and cloud-native architecture patterns.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale technical initiatives across multiple teams.
  • Strong background in observability, monitoring, metrics, logging, tracing, and incident response.
  • Deep understanding of security and compliance practices including Zero Trust, Entra ID/Azure AD, secrets management, and audit/change controls in regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction without direct reporting authority.
  • Preferred experience designing multi-agent systems, tool-calling architectures, or RAG pipelines for infrastructure use cases.
  • Preferred hands-on experience with agentic AI systems, LLM-powered operations tooling, or LangChain, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, or MCP.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and real-time data processing such as Kafka, Event Hubs, or Kinesis.
  • Familiarity with Databricks is preferred.
  • Prior experience in commercial real estate, fintech, or operations and transaction systems is preferred.
  • Technical thought leadership through speaking, writing, or open-source contributions is preferred.
