Responsibilities
- Own the technical architecture for complex, cross-team infrastructure initiatives across cloud platforms, CI/CD, observability, and enterprise systems.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient cloud-native infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Architect and integrate agentic AI workflows for incident triage, self-healing infrastructure, change review, and other DevOps operations.
- Set organization-wide standards for infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, security, observability, and responsible AI-assisted operations.
- Lead technical design reviews and provide architectural guidance to engineering and platform teams.
- Develop infrastructure roadmaps with product, security, and engineering leadership.
- Resolve systemic performance, reliability, and scalability issues across cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Own incident response and disaster recovery strategy, including postmortems and durable corrective actions.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers and influence technical direction across teams.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, particularly AI-driven infrastructure automation, for business applicability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field is preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in infrastructure or software engineering, including large-scale cloud infrastructure and CI/CD architecture.
- Expert proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Bicep and CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, containerization, and Kubernetes orchestration at scale.
- Strong experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP and cloud-native architecture patterns.
- Proven experience leading large-scale technical initiatives across multiple teams.
- Strong background in observability, monitoring, metrics, logging, tracing, and incident response.
- Deep understanding of security and compliance practices including Zero Trust, Entra ID/Azure AD, secrets management, and audit/change controls in regulated environments.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction without direct reporting authority.
- Preferred experience designing multi-agent systems, tool-calling architectures, or RAG pipelines for infrastructure use cases.
- Preferred hands-on experience with agentic AI systems, LLM-powered operations tooling, or LangChain, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, or MCP.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and real-time data processing such as Kafka, Event Hubs, or Kinesis.
- Familiarity with Databricks is preferred.
- Prior experience in commercial real estate, fintech, or operations and transaction systems is preferred.
- Technical thought leadership through speaking, writing, or open-source contributions is preferred.
