Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and enhance enterprise Drupal web hosting services.
- Perform platform maintenance, website deployments, upgrades, and application troubleshooting.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues while supporting customers and website owners.
- Develop automated solutions for inefficient or repetitive development and operational tasks.
- Write technical specifications, refactor code, and develop reusable functions, objects, and plug-ins.
- Research and promote application development and automated testing best practices.
- Assist with in-depth analysis of technical problems and recommend short- and long-term solutions.
- Collaborate with senior developers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, user-focused web services.
- Coach more junior team members and complete normal-scope tasks with minimal oversight.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or four years of equivalent technical experience.
- Two years of directly related experience required for Level 2.
- Experience with Drupal or a similar web content management system.
- Technical knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Apache, Git or GitLab, Linux, MySQL or SQL, DNS, SSL/TLS, Bash or PowerShell, Docker, and REST APIs.
- Ability to understand deployment processes, refactor code, develop reusable components, design systems spanning multiple technologies, and write technical documentation.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot application code and tools, apply development and testing practices, and communicate effectively.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes deployments, Azure, Solr, CI/CD, and Python.
- Preferred certification in relevant development technologies.
