Base Salary

$110k - $150k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead software development projects from design and architecture through implementation, deployment, monitoring, and support.
  • Write flexible, reusable, efficient, and adaptable code using Python or another high-level interpreted object-oriented language.
  • Conduct code reviews and uphold software quality standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional product, platform, stakeholder, and team members to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and proactively identify and resolve challenges.
  • Contribute to the overall architecture and technology roadmap.
  • Deliver team goals on time and with high quality while understanding the business context.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of software development experience.
  • Strong foundation in software design principles and demonstrated ability to deliver maintainable, high-quality code.
  • Expertise in Python or a high-level interpreted object-oriented programming language.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Preferred: at least 1 year of experience building agentic AI workflows and multi-agent systems.
  • Preferred: at least 1 year of experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, cache systems, message queuing systems, workflow orchestrators, and storage systems.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years of experience with AWS or Azure, CI/CD, and designing maintainable, debuggable, and observable systems and APIs.
  • Preferred: at least 1 year of experience building and working with microservices.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years of experience with Agile development methodologies and practices.

Benefits

  • Full-time exempt salaried position with first-shift hours, generally Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern time.
  • Hybrid schedule with at least three in-office days per week for applicants living within 35 miles of Burlington or Durham, North Carolina.
