Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and develop solutions in the AS400/iSeries environment.
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance RPG-based applications and programs.
- Perform application enhancement, bug fixing, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Develop and optimize database queries for business and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with business users, QA, and technical teams during development, testing, and deployment.
- Provide system and application support to maintain stability, performance, and business continuity.
- Follow SDLC processes and development standards throughout project implementation.
- Participate in detailed module or subsystem design, prototype multi-vendor infrastructure, and showcase solutions to internal or external clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience as an RPG iSeries (AS/400) Developer.
- Strong knowledge of RPGLE, SQL RPGLE, CLLE, PF, DSPF, PRTF, FTP, and IBM iSeries/AS400 technologies.
- Experience with application development, enhancement, maintenance, and production support.
- Analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a development team.
