Responsibilities
- Conduct application security reviews and secure architecture design.
- Perform threat modeling and analyze application and service security.
- Identify, investigate, and remediate security vulnerabilities and attack patterns.
- Develop security automation and security tools.
- Provide security training, outreach, guidance documentation, and metrics to internal development teams.
- Contribute to security projects, research, process improvements, and responses to new threat scenarios.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Industry-based experience identifying security vulnerabilities, attack patterns, and remediation techniques, excluding internships.
- Knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, including penetration testing and exploit development or equivalent.
- Experience in one or more areas such as application security frameworks, security code reviews, incident response, security infrastructure, penetration testing, mobile security, cloud security, AI security, or identity and access controls.
- Experience coding or scripting in one or more languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, or PowerShell.
- Preferred experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
- Preferred knowledge of access-control systems, network security, application and system development security, security architecture and models, cryptography, or operations security.
- Preferred experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, Perl, Ruby, or a similar scripting language.
- Preferred experience in application security architecture, security code reviews, security testing, incident response, or security infrastructure.
