Base Salary
$141k - $162k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop containerized services for a distributed multi-tenant system processing real-time events, data, and network telemetry from public clouds.
- Design, defend, implement, and deploy reliable services that provide cloud security visibility, insights, and recommendations.
- Own critical features and subsystems across the full software development lifecycle.
- Take operational ownership of systems and use production experience to build more supportable software.
- Write primarily in Go and work with data pipelines using SQL or other interfaces.
- Maintain code quality through developer, functional, and integration testing.
- Partner with Product Management and stakeholders to refine requirements and understand customer problems.
- Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree; a master’s degree is a plus.
- At least two years of experience building distributed and scalable software and systems.
- Extensive API-level or programming-level experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Go and SQL.
- Experience with REST API clients.
- Experience delivering containerized services, preferably on a Kubernetes-based platform.
- General TCP/IP networking knowledge and experience in a Unix/Linux programming environment.
- Networking and security controls experience is a plus.
- CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible experience is nice to have.
- Applicants must be able to comply with applicable U.S. export controls.
