Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Write high-quality code for complex scenarios with strong test coverage.
- Translate product requirements into robust designs for modular, configurable, reusable, scalable, secure, and maintainable distributed applications.
- Lead design and code reviews across multiple applications and ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
- Lead multiple sprint teams delivering new or improved product features and address delivery impediments.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to estimate effort, prioritize work, plan delivery, and execute roadmap items.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance across multiple teams.
- Drive technical strategy, operational excellence, quality, performance, scalability, maintainability, and observability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience and at least 3 years leading multi-team engineering initiatives in distributed application environments.
- Preferred experience includes 7 or more years of backend development with Java or Python, 4 or more years with cloud technologies such as AWS, and 3 or more years overseeing the full development lifecycle.
- At least 3 years of mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership, plus at least 1 year of generative AI experience.
- Proficiency in one or more of Java, Python, Go, C++, or JavaScript, along with data structures, algorithms, design patterns, databases, APIs, messaging, containers, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with relational databases, NoSQL, caching, REST, gRPC, message queuing, data streaming, workflow and integration frameworks, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, influencing, mentoring, technical strategy, analytics, experimentation, and operational excellence skills.
- A master’s degree in Computer Science is preferred.
