Responsibilities

  • Understand customer needs and success metrics and develop tailored product demonstrations and field trials.
  • Independently manage system demonstrations, including equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
  • Lead system validation, customer implementation, and successful deployment processes.
  • Assist with responses to RFIs, RFPs, and other technical documentation.
  • Represent customer feedback internally and influence product development and engineering strategies.
  • Support go-to-market strategies and other business activities as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Technical background in areas including professional drone applications, radio systems, networks, software, security, prototyping, or electronics.
  • Understanding of the small uncrewed aircraft regulatory landscape.
  • Relevant experience serving industries such as defense, electrical utilities, or architecture, engineering, and construction.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for audiences with varying technical backgrounds.
  • Experience implementing new technologies for diverse clients and collaborating with technical teams to meet project timelines.
  • Native Japanese speaker with the ability to read and write English.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% of the time.
  • Japan drone certification, such as 一等/二等無人航空機操縦士, is a plus.
