Responsibilities
- Support product-owner relationships by gathering and refining requirements for product tasks.
- Help design and develop architectural solutions while considering integrations with other solutions.
- Contribute to user documentation and follow standard documentation processes.
- Play a minor role in developing and delivering new product features.
- Design, build, test, and deploy robust, scalable software products and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Product, Test, DevOps, and Agile/Scrum teams.
- Develop frontend and backend software for payment services, transaction platforms, real-time payments, and related business flows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or 6 months to 2 years of directly related experience.
- Expertise in one or more general development languages such as Java or Python.
- Experience building and deploying modern services and web applications with quality and scalability.
- Strong knowledge of Java and Spring and experience designing and building large-scale enterprise Java applications.
- Working experience with relational database technologies including SQL, JDBC, DB2, and MySQL, plus familiarity with NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of frontend development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of backend development with Python, Java, C++, or PHP.
- Ability to develop and use APIs and understand database software, systems integration, data structures, and user interface design.
- Curiosity, a growth mindset, willingness to learn new technologies, and comfort collaborating across multifunctional teams.
