Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable software for new platform use cases.
- Create designs that scale existing systems and address architecture, usability, supportability, and scalability gaps.
- Develop distributed, event-driven applications using C# and .NET technologies.
- Collaborate across teams and contribute code to other codebases.
- Write quality code and automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Debug and troubleshoot software using log analysis and related techniques.
- Own engineering initiatives and promote continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience with C# and the .NET Framework.
- Understanding of distributed systems, object-oriented design, and multi-threaded programming.
- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and log-analysis skills.
- Demonstrable knowledge of large-scale deployments in enterprise technology environments.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing.
- Ability to write quality code and unit and integration tests using mocking or instrumentation.
- Security and compliance consciousness.
- Strong ownership and ability to determine what needs to be done and execute it.
