Responsibilities
- Analyze product designs and requirements to create detailed testing strategies.
- Develop automated functional tests from prepared test cases.
- Develop performance, load, and stress tests.
- Design and improve functional and load-testing frameworks.
- Document, report, and track software defects using Jira.
- Provide QA capacity and verification coverage for planned Voice Application and chat-service work.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional QA experience in a complex software development environment.
- Experience writing automated tests with Python and C.
- Experience working with legacy code.
- Base knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Base knowledge of network technology, including tcpdump, Wireshark, and TCP/IP.
- Experience testing server applications.
- Hands-on Linux testing experience.
- Strong communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Desired: knowledge of Lua; Telco/VoIP experience; familiarity with SIP and XMPP; JavaScript and NodeJS experience; and experience managing Jenkins or CI pipelines.
