Base Salary
$180k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead software development projects across ASG portfolio companies from design through delivery.
- Build production-quality software across the full stack using AI-native and agentic coding practices.
- Advise engineering teams and influence technical practices across multiple companies.
- Train and mentor engineers through coaching, workshops, enablement sessions, and working labs.
- Establish repeatable engineering patterns, playbooks, and best practices.
- Partner with portfolio leadership, product stakeholders, and engineering teams to identify opportunities for AI-native development.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience building and shipping production-quality applications in senior or lead roles.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and a record of delivering production-quality software.
- Ability to work across infrastructure, backend, web, mobile, and databases.
- Experience using AI and agentic coding tools to accelerate software development.
- Familiarity with AI code review, static analysis, testing, CI/CD, and observability tools.
- Ability to stay current with AI tools and agentic coding workflows.
- Strong communication, facilitation, training, and technical enablement skills.
- Experience with multiple programming languages, frameworks, and technology stacks, with the ability to learn new ones quickly.
- Sound judgment regarding code quality, architecture, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Comfort operating across ambiguous, fast-paced environments, companies, teams, and priorities.
