Responsibilities
- Design, develop, support, and continuously improve AI-enabled solutions, intelligent agents, automations, and digital services.
- Provide production operations support including monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, problem management, service restoration, and continuous improvement.
- Lead technically complex workstreams and contribute to solution design, operational readiness, service transition, reliability, and supportability.
- Onboard project-built and citizen-developed solutions into SOM-managed services while ensuring security, compliance, governance, maintainability, and operability.
- Own operational excellence, service reliability, observability, and supportability across assigned applications, AI solutions, and services.
- Apply Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities including intelligent agents, retrieval-augmented solutions, enterprise copilots, and AI-driven automation.
- Perform hands-on engineering focused on Intelligent Operations, AgentOps, SOM process automation, technical debt reduction, modernization, and application enhancements.
- Collaborate with architects, platform teams, developers, fusion teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to operational governance, FinOps, risk management, and support readiness.
- Mentor engineers and citizen developers and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience delivering, supporting, or enhancing AI-enabled applications, automation solutions, or digital services in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Generative AI, intelligent agents, copilots, enterprise AI platforms, or related technologies.
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, troubleshooting, and supporting business-critical applications and services throughout their operational lifecycle.
- Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, agent orchestration, AI monitoring, evaluation, and governance concepts.
- Experience with production monitoring, incident management, problem management, root cause analysis, change management, service restoration, and continuous improvement.
- Strong understanding of operability, reliability, supportability, security, compliance, and operational readiness for enterprise solutions.
- Practical experience with DevOps, CI/CD, source control, automation, and modern software engineering practices.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to mentor colleagues, influence technical decisions, and identify service-quality improvements.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Databricks Mosaic AI, or comparable AI technologies is highly desirable.
- Experience with Power Platform and enterprise integration technologies such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, APIs, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps is beneficial.
- Exposure to Data Engineering, Analytics, reporting, AI operations, observability, FinOps, governance, intelligent agents, and enterprise AI support models is advantageous.
- Relevant Generative AI, Azure AI, Databricks, Data Engineering, or Power Platform certifications are advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related discipline.
