Responsibilities
- Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes with stakeholders using Figma or React.
- Develop reusable React components and front-end libraries for scalable, high-performance web applications.
- Build responsive and accessible experiences across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.
- Manage complex application state and data flow using Redux or the Context API.
- Monitor performance, debug front-end issues, and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Design and maintain micro-frontend services using single-spa and implement communication between applications.
- Configure independent deployment pipelines and optimize lazy loading, import maps, and shared dependencies.
- Lead a global shared theme and reusable design system across micro-frontends.
- Identify site improvements, manage ticketing workflows, and deliver solutions independently.
Requirements
- Expert-level knowledge of React, JSX, hooks, the Virtual DOM, and component lifecycles.
- Advanced proficiency with HTML5, CSS3 including Flexbox and Grid, and modern JavaScript ES6+.
- Understanding of user-centered design, typography, color theory, responsive design, and accessibility.
- Experience with micro-frontend architecture, single-spa, cross-application communication, and independent deployment.
- Experience with performance optimization, debugging, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Ability to obtain a US Government Public Trust clearance and US citizenship.
- Preferred experience building Node.js and Express applications and RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- Preferred familiarity with AWS S3, CloudFront, Lambda, API Gateway, AWS CodePipeline, and GitHub Actions.
- Preferred basic knowledge of DynamoDB or Postgres.
- Preference is given to candidates with active or recent ICE or CBP clearance.
