Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain reliable, scalable backend services and APIs.
- Write and optimize database queries using technologies such as MySQL and Presto.
- Profile systems, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and improve performance.
- Contribute to cloud-based projects and support deployments.
- Implement and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end automated testing.
- Build services with Golang and Scala and gain exposure to Apache Flink.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams, with opportunities to lead a small team.
Requirements
- More than 4 years of backend development experience.
- Familiarity with large-scale distributed web or API services, systems internals, and networking.
- Hands-on experience with databases and query languages such as MySQL or Presto.
- Strong understanding of system performance, profiling, and bottleneck resolution.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; testing frameworks; and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with any programming language and willingness to work with Golang and Scala, including Flink.
