Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality Java backend software for Mastercard Payment Networks.
- Build solutions in a CI/CD environment using cloud frameworks.
- Select and implement suitable persistence mechanisms, including RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
- Apply coding best practices and program-defined code quality gates.
- Conduct proofs of concept based on business needs.
- Coordinate with multiple Mastercard groups to support successful project delivery.
- Collaborate effectively within an Agile environment.
- Follow Mastercard information security policies, protect data confidentiality and integrity, report suspected breaches, and complete mandatory security training.
Requirements
- 6 months to 1.5 years of experience in a similar role or technology.
- Strong object-oriented design and programming skills.
- In-depth knowledge of product development.
- Expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with CI and CD.
- Strong communication, learning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with event-driven architecture is advantageous.
- Cloud-based development experience is desirable.
