Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and manage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for data and analytics workloads across on-premises and multi-cloud environments.
- Automate Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric data workflows, deployments, clusters, notebooks, and jobs.
- Develop infrastructure as code for Azure using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
- Integrate DevSecOps practices including automated testing, code quality checks, vulnerability scanning, and secure delivery practices.
- Maintain source control, branching strategies, automation scripts, container platforms, monitoring, observability, and platform performance.
- Support cloud security, identity and access management, network security, data governance, compliance, SRE practices, and legacy platform modernization.
- Collaborate with customers, data engineers, analysts, business stakeholders, and offshore teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Lead by example, mentor team members, manage project risks and deliverables, and assist with client technology evaluations and proposals.
Requirements
- BE/B.Tech/MCA with 6–8 years of industry experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD automation, release management, and environment provisioning.
- Deep expertise in Azure Data Lake, Databricks including Spark and Delta Lake, and Microsoft Fabric workloads.
- Experience with Azure and other cloud platforms including AWS and GCP, plus Docker and Kubernetes such as AKS, EKS, or GKE.
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Groovy, Shell scripting, Azure CLI, and AWS CLI.
- Experience with Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep, configuration management, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of cloud security, data governance, compliance, scalable data architecture, SRE practices, and multi-cloud operations.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure infrastructure and solutions architect certifications, Terraform Associate, Azure Data Engineer Associate, Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, and Databricks Data Engineer certifications.
- Experience with GenAI technologies, data platform integration, Terraform Cloud, or Ansible Tower is preferred.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, mentoring, and customer-facing skills; willingness to travel as required.
