Responsibilities
- Design scalable AI architectures and implement AI components such as model serving, orchestration, retrieval pipelines, vector stores, and integrations.
- Lead proof-of-value sprints, including scope refinement, solution development, iteration, stakeholder presentations, and outcome recommendations.
- Plan and execute cloud-to-on-premises and hybrid migrations for AI workloads on Dell infrastructure.
- Support production readiness and early production stability through monitoring, performance optimization, and issue triage.
- Collaborate with AI Data Specialists, AI Strategists, Enterprise Architects, and customer teams on solution design and delivery.
- Provide documentation, runbooks, knowledge transfer, customer enablement, and mentoring for technical team members.
- Contribute to Dell AI Factory reference architectures and playbooks.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, AI/ML platforms, or systems engineering delivering production workloads in large enterprises.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing AI solution components and operating production AI or other large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience deploying AI solutions across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments, including production stabilization and performance tuning.
- Strong foundation in software engineering practices, automated testing, observability, DevOps/SRE, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Ability to communicate technical architectures and trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to travel in Australia and New Zealand as required.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field is desirable.
- Familiarity with AI security, privacy, governance, modern cloud, data, and ML tooling, including Kubernetes, is desirable.
- Hands-on GenAI or RAG experience and experience leading small technical teams in customer-facing projects are desirable.
