Responsibilities
- Build production applications, backend services, integrations, automations, and lightweight full-stack experiences for customer use cases.
- Implement REST API, webhook, and SDK integrations that normalize, enrich, and route operational data into LogicMonitor Edwin AI.
- Instrument and troubleshoot logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, alerting, and OpenTelemetry-based telemetry pipelines.
- Configure and deploy solutions across SaaS, hybrid-cloud, and customer-managed environments using containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
- Support prototypes, proof-of-concept solutions, production rollouts, go-live, hypercare, troubleshooting, and customer adoption.
- Create reusable templates, integration patterns, playbooks, documentation, and product feedback for engineering and product teams.
- Collaborate directly with customers, partners, senior engineers, product teams, and internal AI, Data, and Platform teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in backend, data systems, platform, solutions, software engineering, SRE, or technical consulting.
- Experience building streaming data pipelines using Kafka, Spark, or similar technologies.
- Strong programming experience in Java and Python, including microservice design, plus JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with ETL, data modeling, distributed storage systems, APIs, SDKs, authentication controls, payload mapping, and schema validation.
- Working knowledge of observability fundamentals, OpenTelemetry, telemetry pipelines, cloud deployment tooling, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
- Practical exposure to AI application patterns including LLM APIs, agents or workflows, evaluation basics, and production AI observability.
- Strong debugging judgment, systems thinking, communication, collaboration, and ability to explain technical tradeoffs to technical and customer stakeholders.
- Awareness of data governance, validation, and lineage best practices.
- Preferred experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Ansible, Terraform, Rundeck, MCP, or similar integration patterns.
