Responsibilities
- Partner with clients and internal leads to understand priorities and frame commercially viable, technically feasible solutions.
- Build and deploy agentic AI systems end-to-end, from prototypes through production-grade systems and configured client deployments.
- Design solutions using the Avanade Agentic Platform and Microsoft AI stack, including evaluation, observability, guardrails, and production operations.
- Contribute reusable components, patterns, and assets from engagements and connect delivery to measurable business outcomes.
- Carry accountability from the initial brief through live deployment and meet production, accuracy, and evaluation thresholds.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software or AI engineering with production systems to demonstrate.
- Strong practical command of Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, and agent orchestration, or credible equivalent experience on another stack.
- Full-stack capability across front end, APIs, data, and agent orchestration sufficient to ship complete systems.
- Experience building and evaluating agentic systems involving retrieval, tool use, and failure handling.
- Ability to work autonomously in client environments and engage directly with business and technical stakeholders.
- Track record of moving prototypes into production quickly without leaving unresolved delivery work behind.
- Australian Citizens are preferred; Permanent Residents will also be considered.
