Responsibilities
- Partner with clients and internal Industry, Domain, Value, and Trust leads to understand priorities and frame solutions.
- Build and deploy agentic AI systems end-to-end, from prototypes to production-grade systems and configured client products.
- Design solutions using the Avanade Agentic Platform and Microsoft AI stack.
- Apply agent-assisted development, automated evaluation, observability, and production operations.
- Ensure evaluation, accuracy, and guardrails are incorporated before release.
- Contribute reusable components, patterns, and assets from each engagement.
- Maintain accountability for delivery from the initial brief through production and measurable client outcomes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software or AI engineering experience with production systems to demonstrate.
- Strong practical command of Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, and agent orchestration; equivalent experience on another stack may be considered if transferable.
- Full-stack capability across frontend, APIs, data, and agent orchestration sufficient to ship complete solutions.
- Experience building and evaluating agentic systems, including retrieval, tool use, and failure handling.
- Ability to work autonomously in client environments and engage directly with business and technical stakeholders.
- Track record of taking prototypes into production quickly and responsibly.
- Australian citizenship is preferred; permanent residents will also be considered.
