Base Salary
$140k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build customer-facing and back-office software using JavaScript, Vue, React, and Java.
- Architect, implement, and own scalable systems for CharterUP’s two-sided marketplace.
- Deploy and operate robust applications on AWS using monitoring and automation.
- Define and advocate for engineering best practices, tooling, and development processes.
- Lead technology initiatives across web applications, mobile applications, data engineering, and DevOps.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote traditional and AI-enhanced development practices.
- Collaborate with engineering leaders, product managers, and cross-functional teams to align technical implementation with business needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a full stack software engineer.
- Hands-on leadership of end-to-end projects in fast-paced environments.
- Strong frontend development skills with Vue, React, Angular, or comparable modern frameworks.
- Backend experience in JVM-based environments such as Java or Kotlin, with the posting also listing C# as an example.
- Experience delivering scalable and maintainable software for customer needs.
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, especially AWS.
- Familiarity with AI-based development or deployment tools.
- Collaborative approach, ownership of complex high-impact deliverables, and ability to work cross-functionally.
