Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support scalable web applications and service-based solutions.
- Develop enterprise applications using Angular, .NET Core/C#, and Java technologies.
- Design, develop, and manage REST and SOAP APIs for transaction-processing environments.
- Work with cloud platforms and relational databases, including database design and performance tuning.
- Improve application reliability, scalability, performance, software quality, automation, and engineering practices.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, product teams, stakeholders, and business teams to deliver secure API-driven solutions.
- Contribute to application and platform architecture discussions and influence technical decisions.
- Mentor, coach, or develop other engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience developing enterprise applications.
- 7+ years of experience with Angular and .NET Core/C# development.
- Experience developing and supporting applications using Java technologies.
- Experience designing, developing, and managing REST and SOAP APIs within transaction-processing environments.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, or similar cloud technologies.
- Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or comparable relational database platforms, including database design and performance tuning.
- Experience using version control tools such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, troubleshooting, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, architecture, and business teams.
- Preferred experience includes application and platform architecture, scalable cloud-native solutions, software quality and automation, mentoring engineers, technical influence, and financial-services or transaction-processing industry experience.
