Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end technical deployment of Latent Labs models into customer scientific and IT environments.
- Design and build production-grade API integrations, data pipelines, and model-serving infrastructure tailored to customer requirements.
- Work on-site or embedded with pharma and biotech partners to scope requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver solutions.
- Ensure deployments meet enterprise standards for security, performance, and reliability.
- Act as the technical point of contact for assigned customers and build relationships with their scientific and engineering teams.
- Gather customer feedback and translate it into actionable input for product, research, and platform teams.
- Create technical documentation, integration guides, and best-practice resources.
- Stay current with ML infrastructure, model serving, and cloud-native tooling while developing knowledge of protein and cell biology.
Requirements
- A BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a closely related quantitative field.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience with modern ML frameworks.
- Significant experience designing, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure for large-scale model serving and building API layers around ML models.
- Direct experience deploying AI systems for external customers and communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and ideally GCP or Azure, plus Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with customer-facing technical delivery, documentation, presentations, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience with computational biology, protein design, or other life-science ML projects is advantageous.
- A track record of novel contributions to generative modeling through publications, open-source work, or product features is advantageous.
- Experience delivering enterprise-grade software with security, compliance, auditability, and uptime requirements is advantageous.
- Pharma or biotech industry experience and knowledge of related regulatory, data governance, and scientific workflows is advantageous.
