Responsibilities
- Lead integration initiatives from concept through execution and delivery while aligning solutions with business and program objectives.
- Architect, design, and implement SAP Integration Suite/CPI solutions and iFlows connecting SAP S/4 systems with legacy, cloud, on-premise, and third-party systems.
- Develop message mappings, value mappings, schema definitions, and transformations using Graphical Mapping, XSLT, and Groovy as needed.
- Implement EDI integrations using standards and transactions such as X12, EDIFACT, 850, 855, 856, 860, and 810.
- Define and enforce integration architecture, best practices, standards, operating procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with architects, functional leads, business stakeholders, distributed teams, and external vendors to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Maintain project documentation covering interface specifications, mappings, security and connection details, and deployment and handoff instructions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integrations, perform root cause analysis, and support CPI integrations during project phases.
- Stay current with SAP Cloud Integration capabilities and ensure compliance with documentation and change management standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP integrations and at least 4 years of extensive hands-on experience with SAP CPI, SAP Integration Suite, or Cloud Connector.
- Proven ability to lead technical discussions, make architecture-level decisions, and influence technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong experience with REST and SOAP APIs, OData, SFTP, HTTP/S, JSON, XML, XSLT, and related integration protocols and patterns.
- Experience implementing EDI integrations, including X12 and/or EDIFACT standards, EDI transactions, customer and vendor onboarding, Integration Advisor, and B2B Trading Partner Management.
- Knowledge of IDoc fundamentals, SAP integration troubleshooting, integration security, certificates and keys, encryption and decryption, and SSH-based secure file transfer.
- Experience integrating with SaaS platforms such as SuccessFactors and SAP DMC.
- Knowledge of Java and/or Groovy scripting and CPI Trading Partner Management.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in English.
- SAP or integration-related certifications are preferred; RISE, S/4HANA Cloud, BTP Administration, manufacturing, B2B/EDI, and SAP API Management experience are additional advantages.
