Responsibilities

  • Lead integration initiatives from concept through execution and delivery.
  • Evaluate integration designs and guide teams toward scalable, maintainable, performant, and secure SAP Integration Suite solutions.
  • Architect, design, and implement SAP CPI iFlows connecting SAP S/4 systems with legacy, cloud, third-party, and non-SAP applications.
  • Develop message mappings, value mappings, schema definitions, and transformations using Graphical Mapping, XSLT, and Groovy.
  • Implement EDI integrations using standards and transactions such as X12, EDIFACT, 850, 855, 856, 860, and 810.
  • Define and enforce integration architecture, best practices, standard operating procedures, and continuous improvements.
  • Gather business requirements, produce technical specifications, and align integration designs with enterprise and program goals.
  • Maintain interface specifications, mapping documents, security and connection details, and deployment and run instructions.
  • Monitor integrations, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and support CPI integrations during project phases.
  • Stay current with SAP Cloud Integration technologies and ensure compliance with documentation and change management standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in SAP integrations and at least 4 years of hands-on SAP CPI, SAP Integration Suite, or Cloud Connector experience.
  • Experience with iFlow design, integration scenarios, mapping, monitoring, and leading complex integration projects.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions, make architecture-level decisions, and influence technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong experience with REST and SOAP APIs, OData, SFTP, HTTP/S, JSON, XML, XSLT, and related integration protocols and patterns.
  • Experience implementing EDI integrations, including X12 or EDIFACT standards, EDI transactions, customer and vendor onboarding, Integration Advisor, and B2B Trading Partner Management.
  • Knowledge of IDoc fundamentals and SAP integration troubleshooting concepts.
  • Understanding of integration security, certificates and keys, encryption and decryption, security artifacts, and SSH-key-based secure file transfer.
  • Experience integrating SaaS platforms such as SuccessFactors and SAP DMC.
  • Knowledge of Java and/or Groovy scripting and CPI Trading Partner Management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-translation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within distributed teams; proficiency in English is required.
  • SAP or integration-related certifications are preferred; SAP RISE, S/4HANA Cloud, or BTP Administration certifications are a plus.
  • Manufacturing industry experience with B2B/EDI exposure and SAP API Management experience are preferred.

  • Base compensation range of $101,000-$150,000 annually, plus benefits and additional incentives based on role level.
