Base Salary
$110k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support SAP ABAP solutions across various SAP modules.
- Build and enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications, including custom applications, extensions, and annotations.
- Develop and optimize CDS Views, AMDP, SQLScript, and other SAP HANA-oriented solutions for data modeling and reporting.
- Implement managed and unmanaged RAP applications and develop OData and web services.
- Apply SAP Clean Core principles, S/4HANA extensibility practices, whitelisted APIs, and upgrade-safe development methods.
- Develop side-by-side extensions using SAP BTP rather than modifying the SAP ERP core.
- Perform performance tuning, debugging, troubleshooting, code reviews, testing, documentation, and background processing management.
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and consulting partners.
- Support authorization concepts, transport management, workflow development, BOPF processing, and legacy-code refactoring.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
- Deep expertise in ABAP Objects and procedural ABAP, including RICEFW objects, DDIC objects, and ALV reporting.
- Extensive experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, CDS Views, RAP, OData services, web services, IDocs, and SAP HANA development.
- Experience with ADT in Eclipse, SAP Business Application Studio, Git-enabled workflows, and source-control integration.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, performance-tuning, authorization, transport-management, and SAP development-standard skills.
- Strong understanding of SAP Clean Core, ABAP Cloud restrictions, S/4HANA extensibility, ATC checks, behavior definitions, and upgrade-safe development.
- Experience with Fiori Elements, embedded analytics, SAP BTP, SAP S/4HANA architecture, and migration approaches is preferred.
- SAP ABAP or S/4HANA certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Tricentis test tools is preferred.

- Base compensation is $110,000–$155,000 annually, plus benefits and additional incentives based on role level.
