Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain security automation tools and scripts.
- Utilize Python and other scripting languages for custom security solutions.
- Leverage APIs for data retrieval and report generation.
- Investigate attacks and collaborate with Security Operations for improvements.
- Stay updated with cybersecurity trends to enhance SOC processes.
- Collaborate with SOC analysts and technical teams for automation integration.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in coding, development, or scripting, preferably in cybersecurity.
- Proven experience in security automation within a SOC environment.
- 1+ years of experience in an information security role, preferably in SOC or Threat Hunting.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and data analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in leveraging APIs for automation.
- Excellent communication skills for summarizing findings.
