Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated test scripts and cases within existing frameworks for cybersecurity products.
- Execute test plans across endpoint, cloud-based, and microservices-driven security solutions.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to apply quality practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support integration of automated tests into existing CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify, document, and track defects and help engineering teams drive them to resolution.
- Contribute improvements to testing processes, frameworks, tooling, and automation opportunities.
- Use AI-powered engineering and testing tools to support automation development and defect detection.
- Provide timely updates on testing progress and defect status.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or a related technical role, with some test automation experience.
- Working knowledge of Playwright, JUnit, or TestNG and scripting or programming experience in TypeScript or Python.
- Foundational understanding of CI/CD concepts and familiarity with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins, AWS, Azure, Docker, or Kubernetes is a plus.
- Exposure to or interest in testing cybersecurity products such as endpoint detection, threat detection, MDR/XDR, SIEM, or SOC platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with Git and interest in developing TDD and BDD skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, curiosity, and willingness to learn and seek guidance.
