Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise discovery and requirements-gathering sessions for hybrid-cloud infrastructure and managed-services opportunities.
- Design comprehensive solutions spanning datacenter operations, infrastructure management, cloud migration, workload modernization, and operational transformation.
- Develop architecture documents, technical roadmaps, implementation playbooks, proposals, timelines, resource plans, risk strategies, and success metrics.
- Build cost models, bottom-up estimates, financial scenarios, sensitivity analyses, and ROI analyses for infrastructure and cloud solutions.
- Present technical solutions and quantified business outcomes to CXO-level and technical audiences.
- Coordinate with sales, delivery, engineering, security, finance, and executive stakeholders to validate assumptions and delivery feasibility.
- Use GenAI tools to synthesize requirements, refine technical language, analyze solution gaps, and accelerate proposals.
- Support solution kickoffs, steering meetings, transition planning, and post-engagement feedback to align delivery with promised outcomes.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of experience in IT architecture, systems integration, or presales solutions roles, including at least five years focused on hybrid cloud, infrastructure modernization, or managed services.
- Demonstrated success winning enterprise deals or leading complex solution designs, authoring influential technical RFP responses and proposals, and designing integrated IT service models.
- Deep knowledge of Azure and/or AWS, including IaaS, PaaS, governance, and cost management.
- Strong understanding of datacenter operations, infrastructure as code, automation, AIOps, observability, virtualization, storage, networking, security, disaster recovery, migration, workload assessment, and modernization.
- Proficiency with Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and GitHub Copilot for solution design, requirements synthesis, proposal acceleration, and analysis.
- Strong communication, presentation, consultative discovery, executive engagement, collaboration, strategic thinking, financial acumen, cost modeling, and margin-analysis skills.
- Preferred qualifications include Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, ITIL, COBIT, CMM, CMMI, MSP or systems-integrator experience, GTM or services-pricing experience, cost-modeling tools experience, and relevant thought leadership.
