Responsibilities
- Contribute to requirements analysis and define technical solutions aligned with product and system needs.
- Design scalable, reliable, and maintainable software architecture and components.
- Develop and integrate complex software modules and features.
- Use AI coding and documentation assistants with rigorous human review and validation.
- Design and implement comprehensive unit tests and support integration and system verification.
- Prepare and maintain software design specifications and technical documentation.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues and provide technical guidance.
- Maintain and optimize the Continuous Integration environment for builds and testing.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, facilitate workshops, and support knowledge sharing.
- Assist with responsible AI adoption, including prompt-engineering standards and training developers to evaluate AI output.
Requirements
- Degree in Software Engineering or a similar field.
- At least 8 years of software development experience.
- Advanced proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Deep expertise in Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and enterprise-grade applications with complex business logic.
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude for code generation, refactoring, logic optimization, and technical documentation.
- Expertise in advanced design patterns, risk analysis, system optimization, and full-cycle development.
- Ability to solve complex problems, anticipate issues, and develop innovative business solutions.
- High autonomy in critical architectural decisions and project workflow management.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Strong business acumen and ability to align technical decisions with strategic objectives.
- Familiarity with medical device compliance standards and quality management systems is preferred.
Benefits
- Annual salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 CAD.
