Responsibilities
- Analyze high-traffic distributed systems and legacy components to identify infrastructure inefficiencies and optimization opportunities.
- Build and maintain infrastructure cost visibility, including reporting pipelines and dashboards.
- Identify, implement, and validate short-term and long-term infrastructure optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to present and drive technical improvements.
- Improve infrastructure scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code and automation practices.
Requirements
- At least five years of hands-on DevOps experience in high-traffic production environments.
- Strong practical experience with FinOps, infrastructure cost optimization, and reporting.
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure cost drivers and optimization strategies.
- Experience presenting technical proposals and optimization initiatives to engineering leadership.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code tools, preferably Terraform, and Helm.
- Knowledge of observability and monitoring solutions.
- At least Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.
- Preferred experience with multi-cloud environments, cybersecurity, fraud prevention, trust and safety, application protection, Looker, and large-scale distributed systems.
- Proactive, self-driven, accountable, independent, strategic, and effective in communication and stakeholder management.
