Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, debug, optimize, and maintain solutions within the Amdocs Ensemble ecosystem.
- Develop and support applications across MAF/MPS, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Tuxedo, and Customer Service Management modules.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and software solutions.
- Develop application code using C/C++.
- Design and maintain Oracle database objects, stored procedures, and complex SQL and PL/SQL queries.
- Create Linux Shell/Bash scripts for automation, deployment, and operational support.
- Participate in software design reviews, code reviews, testing, CI/CD processes, and production support.
- Analyze system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, and operations teams.
- Follow development standards, security requirements, and software engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience.
- Strong programming experience in C/C++.
- Solid experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
- Experience in Linux/Unix environments and strong Shell/Bash scripting skills.
- Experience using Perforce for source code management and Jenkins for build automation and deployment pipelines.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within global teams.
- Experience with Amdocs Ensemble modules, telecom billing, customer management platforms, system integration, application performance tuning, and enterprise-scale production environments is preferred or advantageous.
- Knowledge of PowerBuilder and experience in the telecommunications domain are advantageous.
