Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain the Neuron Profiler and other Neuron monitoring and profiling tools.
- Design high-performance tools that expose performance bottlenecks and system behavior across Trainium and Inferentia devices.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle while ensuring scalability, reliability, and usability.
- Improve the performance of ML kernels and ML frameworks.
- Collaborate with teams responsible for the C++ compiler and runtime to provide customers with optimization insights.
- Define product direction and deliver software to internal and external customers with executive, senior management, and technical leaders.
- Mentor engineers and lead design, architecture, or engineering teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
