Software Engineer
GE VernovaResponsibilities
- Develop and maintain modern web applications using React.js or Angular.
- Build responsive user interfaces with HTML5 and CSS3.
- Write clean, scalable JavaScript and TypeScript code.
- Create and maintain unit tests using Jest or Jasmine and automation tests using Playwright.
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, backend engineers, and other engineers to deliver features.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and software deployment practices.
Requirements
- Require 3–5 years of frontend development experience.
- Require strong experience with React.js.
- Require proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Require experience with Jest or Jasmine and Playwright.
- Require understanding of REST APIs and web services.
- Require familiarity with Agile development practices.
- Prefer experience with component libraries or design systems, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Prefer strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
