Responsibilities
- Design and implement development tooling and platform infrastructure to improve reliability and developer productivity.
- Build, automate, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
- Manage environment deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
- Partner with software engineers to ensure development follows established processes and works as intended in production.
- Build tools and APIs to reduce errors and improve user experience.
- Develop software integrating with internal backend systems and APIs.
- Improve monitoring, alerting, runbooks, observability, and operational readiness.
Requirements
- Experience operating infrastructure in hybrid on-premises and AWS environments.
- Experience with Kubernetes, preferably AWS EKS, and AWS infrastructure including EC2, VPC/networking, and load balancing.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and OpenTofu.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux scripting and Python.
- Knowledge of Git.
- Working knowledge of C/C++, Make, and CMake.
- Experience with mature CI/CD environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Splunk, and Coralogix.
- Strong problem-solving, automation, teamwork, and communication skills.
