Responsibilities
- Own the architecture, implementation, operation, and troubleshooting of cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Design and execute AWS deployment strategies while supporting on-premises container platforms.
- Translate requirements from trading desks, developers, and researchers into robust technical solutions.
- Drive CI/CD adoption, automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Engineer and maintain networking, security, monitoring, availability, performance, and reliability solutions for production trading systems.
- Manage and tune Docker and Kubernetes clusters on AWS and on-premises platforms.
- Evaluate and introduce tooling that improves DevOps efficiency.
- Act as a liaison between engineering and business teams and align infrastructure decisions with commercial goals.
Requirements
- 3 to 8 years of hands-on infrastructure or cloud engineering experience.
- Extensive experience with AWS services and infrastructure, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, networking, and security.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and on-premises cluster management.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Proficiency in Python or Bash for automation.
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Solid understanding of Linux, networking, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with NTP and PTP time synchronization concepts and protocols.
- Ability to work autonomously and deliver production-grade solutions from problem statements.
- Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and business-outcome orientation.
